Small Group Tour Itinerary

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel. Explore Old Delhi's fascinating sites, starting with a tour of Humayan's Tomb, then passing the Red Fort to the trading lanes off Chandni Chowk, explored by rickshaw. From the Jama Masjid take a fascinating walk seeing traditional Delhi food vendors in action. After lunch visit a welcoming Sikh temple.

Hotel: The Imperial

Drive to Agra and visit its great Moghul fort with glimpses down the Yamuna River to the distant Taj Mahal. Witness the majestic sight of the Taj Mahal at dawn, before the drive to Ranthambore National Park.

Enter the national park for the first of two safaris. While the most sought-after prize is the Bengal Tiger, there is much more on offer with sambar and chital deer, huge crocodiles, jackal and hyena, leopards, monkeys and colorful birdlife. Stop for chai at a women's co-operative.

Drive to Jaipur and visit the royal observatory. Spend some free time exploring or perhaps see a Bollywood movie. Experience timeless India at a traditional milk market, and enjoy chai at a local shop. Stop for photos at the ornate Hawa Mahal, before climbing by jeep along ancient lanes to the dramatic Amber Fort. Later join a local family for dinner in their old city haveli. On your last day, enjoy some free time before your departure transfer.
