DAYS 1-4: HANOI & SAPA
On arrival in Hanoi, transfer to your hotel. Bond with your small group of fellow travelers and tour leader at a tour briefing and welcome drinks. Enjoy visiting the Ethnology Museum in Hanoi before driving to colorful, mountainous Sapa in Northern Vietnam. Wander the delightful town and local market, then embark on a walk through the Black H'mong villages of Hau Thao and Saseng, soaking up the regional lifestyle of the mountain-dwelling locals. Visit a Red Dzao village before transferring to Topas Ecolodge, with views on all sides of the valley below. Here, discover the minority villages and learn more about their unique way of life and take a walk in the Lech Valley. Enjoy dinner at Topas Ecolodge.

DAYS 5-8: HANOI & HALONG BAY
Enjoy free time exploring Sapa before driving back to Hanoi. The following day, take a walking tour of the Old Quarter and visit sites including the Temple of Literature before an evening water puppet performance. A morning drive brings you to stunning Halong Bay. Board your overnight cruise and float amongst the bay's thousands of limestone islands. Return to Hanoi, then board an overnight train to Hue.

DAYS 9-11: HUE & HOI AN
In Hue, unearth an array of historic sites, including the Citadel and the Thien Mu Pagoda. At the Spiral Foundation, learn from the deaf and mute workers how to make local handicrafts. Visit Tu Duc's tomb and an incense workshop, then take a scenic road journey to Hoi An. Explore on foot in the afternoon. Join an informative Fisherman Ecotour, then enjoy a tour of Hoi An’s markets and streets.

DAYS 12-13: NHA TRANG
Fly from Danang to the country's premier beach location, Nha Trang. An island boat cruise gives you the chance to relax, feast on fresh seafood and swim or snorkel. Get to know more about local life during a fishing village walking tour.

DAYS 14-15: DALAT
Drive to the former French hill station of Dalat, stopping at the Ponogar Cham Towers. In this fascinating town of winding streets, colorful markets and abandoned French villas, enjoy the mountain vistas from a cable car ride and admire the faded Art Deco charm of the last emperor's summer residence.

DAYS 16-19: SAIGON & MEKONG DELTA
Travel by road to energetic Saigon, stopping en route at Kriang village. Embark on a thrilling speedboat ride to reach the historic Cu Chi tunnels. In the afternoon, get to know Saigon on a walking tour, taking in sites including Dong Khoi Street, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Reunification Palace. Spend a day cruising through the canals of the Mekong Delta. Spend your last night in Saigon enjoying a farewell dinner with fellow travelers. On your last day, enjoy free time until your departure transfer.
