Small Group Tour Itinerary

DAYS 1-2: BANGKOK, THAILAND
On arrival in Bangkok, transfer to your hotel then meet your tour leader and group for welcome drinks. Walk the streets of bustling Bangkok and float along the Chao Phraya River on a charming longtail boat to discover the sparkling Grand Palace and Wat Arun. Enjoy some free time, perhaps indulging in world-class shopping or sampling delicious Thai cuisine.

DAYS 3-6: RIVER KWAI, AYUTHAYA & SUKHOTHAI
Travel towards Kanchanaburi, and spend a day at an elephant camp, bathing and feeding these magnificent creatures. Immerse yourself in the region’s history with a visit to Hellfire Pass. Enjoy a free afternoon exploring or relaxing in your accommodation by the River Kwai. Drive to Ayuthaya to explore the fascinating temples before enjoying sunset drinks among the temples and a special dinner experience at your hotel. Journey to Sukhothai and spend time cycling around the beautiful ruins of the Sukhothai Heritage Park. This evening, join in a fun cooking class.

DAYS 7-9: CHIANG MAI
Partake in cultural activities including ceramic painting and cotton weaving before departing for Chiang Mai. Discover the Warorot Market and visit the vibrant Ton Lamyai flower market. Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the old city as you pass the significant temples of this charming city. Taste the delights of Chiang Mai at a local Khao Soi restaurant. Drive up to Doi Suthep, and admire the stunning views from its temple. Spend a day exploring Chiang Mai at leisure before joining your fellow group members for dinner.

DAYS 10-11: PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA
Fly to Phnom Penh, transfer to your hotel for welcome drinks. Discover Phnom Penh's rich French colonial past on a cyclo ride and explore its majestic royal character at the Royal Palace and the ornate Silver Pagoda. Reflect on the Khmer Rouge legacy at Tuol Sleng museum and the haunting Killing Fields, and gain fascinating insights into Cambodia's past. Visit the colorful Central Market observing the lives of locals, and visit the Olympic Stadium before enjoying a sunset cruise on the Mekong.

DAYS 12-14: SIEM REAP
Take a short flight to Siem Reap, the gateway to the incredible temples of Angkor. Journey to Tonle Sap Lake and cruise past the floating villages before returning to Siem Reap. Rise early the next day and wander through the jungle, your path illuminated only by torchlight. Enter the seldom-used eastern gate of Angkor Wat to watch the sun's first light rising over the magnificent temple. Afterwards, enjoy a local breakfast at an Angkor cafe. A tuk-tuk ride proves an entertaining (and cool) way to travel between temples. Later, the magnificent stone heads of Bayon temple will amaze. In the afternoon, enjoy a drive through rural Cambodia before you amble through Banteay Srei temple and the atmospheric ruins of tree-covered Ta Prohm. In the evening, share your experience with fellow group travelers at a farewell dinner. On your final day, enjoy free time until your departure airport transfer.
