Small Group Tour Itinerary
Arrive in Beijing and transfer to your hotel, with the choice to join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner. Traverse the expanse of Tiananmen Square and then walk to the marvellous Forbidden City. Discover one of the few remaining backstreets, or hutongs, in Beijing when you enter a local home for lunch then take a rickshaw ride. View the famous Drum Tower and opt for a Peking Duck dinner before an amazing acrobat show. Visit a lesser-visited section of the incredible Great Wall of China at Mutianyu, then take a high speed train to Xian.

Days 4-5 :
XIAN & GUILIN
Wander through the beguiling Muslim Quarter and stop at the Big Goose Pagoda. In the evening you might like to indulge in a sumptuous dumpling banquet. Marvel at the overwhelming number of intricately detailed Terracotta Warriors then fly to Guilin, one of China's most scenic cities. Stroll along the peaceful riverfront and wander through the night market.
Mercure on Renmin Square
Conveniently located on Renmin Square, this property is in the heart of Xian Old City, with the historic Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter just one kilometer away. Each modern room is simple with clean lines and contemporary decor. The restaurant is open for breakfast and there is a good range of international restaurants and bars on the square.
Conveniently located right beside the famous Li River and only a stone's throw from Guilin's town square, this property is a very handy choice. Each room is large and of a good standard, and the east-facing rooms feature fabulous views over the Li River.
YANGSHUO & CHENGDU
Cruise slowly along the Li River to soak up the limestone karst scenery. In charming Yangshuo explore the surrounding countryside by bicycle. You may also like to take in a traditional evening show. Return to Guilin for your flight to Chengdu. Spend some time at the Giant Panda Research & Breeding Base, then unwind in the peaceful cottage gardens of Dufu, a famed poet from the Tang Dynasty. Soak up local life as you relax in a teahouse in bustling People's Park. There is time for shopping in the afternoon before a farewell dinner. On your last day, enjoy free time until your departure transfer.
