Now there is no need to decide between cruising or touring with two new and two improved tours offering you the chance to enjoy both in comfort, all as part of a small group.
Any fan of the Wind in the Willows will know, “there is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.” We can’t help but agree and have added a cruise to two of our small group tours, as well as crafting two brand new trips which feature a cruise along the mighty Mekong.
Mekong & Beyond (16 days)
This brand new journey spends 16 days traveling from Siem Reap to Hanoi, including an eight-day cruise aboard the Jayavarman boutique river cruiser. Beginning with sunrise over Angkor Wat, this magical experience is followed by an eight-day cruise aboard the elegant Jayavarman which allows you to stop at local villages along the Mekong for an insight into daily life away from the tourist crowds. After landing in Saigon travel through Vietnam through the historical port town of Hoi An, the ancient capital Hanoi, and enjoy another night afloat on an overnight cruise on Halong Bay. The elegant Jayavarman is like a floating boutique hotel.
Laos & Cambodia Mekong Discovery (16 days)
Following the Mekong through Laos and Cambodia, the Laos & Cambodia Mekong Discovery travels by boat, road, flight and even elephant to discover the true spirit of the people and places along this mighty river. Starting with a slow boat down the Mekong from Northern Thailand to Luang Prabang, enjoy mingling with the locals in Laos as well as visiting the tourist hot spots. Travel to the South of Laos to cruise amidst the 4,000 Island regions then on to Cambodia in search of the rare pink river dolphins at Kratie. Explore Cambodia’s reinvented capital Phnom Penh before finishing at the incredible temples of Angkor.

Vietnam Discovery (14 days)
Our Vietnam Discovery is one of our most popular small group tours and already includes an overnight cruise amidst the limestone karsts of Halong Bay, but we’re taking it to the next level by adding an overnight cruise along the river and canals of the Mekong Delta.

Burma Revealed (15 days)
Our most in-depth trip to Burma, the Burma Revealed has just gotten even better with the addition of a two-night cruise on the Irrawaddy. For an experience of local life, enjoy stops at a pottery village, local school and learn about the region’s cottage industries.Watching the sun set from the deck of your river cruiser on the exotic Irrawaddy
Whether you like messing about in boats, or just want to discover a side of Asia not often experienced by those traveling on land, combining a cruise and small group tour could be just the thing you’ve been looking for.
